I was very fortunate to meet Scott Nordby when I was performing an appraisal on a home that he had sold in Northglenn.  I was anticipating the sale of my own single family detached home and asked if he had any clients that were looking for a ranch style.

Being a real estate appraiser, I was familiar with the localized market and honestly thought that I would have to do some additional cosmetic work on my home before I could obtain a price at the top of the market.  I was surprised and pleased that he felt that he could market the property "as is" and still obtain a good price.  He cited the low number of properties on the market in the area, and the many good features that my home had that were not readily available, such as backing to a greenbelt, an extra bath on the main leve, adn the hot tub and deck.

I have a partner in my appraisal business who is also a broker and I had planned to list the home through him.  However, I wanted to sell the home quickly and Scott's enthusiasm and obvious ability convinced me to give him the first chance.  It was one of the best decisions I ever made!

Scott immediately began aggressively marketing my home.  In the first three days, I had seven scheduled showings and several "walk-ins".  Within five days I had two full price offers; one being over my asking price!

Scott was just as aggressive in helping me find a townhome that met all my needs at a price I could afford and with reasonable homeowner fees.  Within another week I was under contract on a brand new townhome.

Ben Ellefson recently helped me buy my first home.
